In looking for details on the Tenga Egg while writing this review, I came across this bit of hilarity. Just in case you want to know more uses for your Tenga Egg.
Funny uses aside, the Tenga Egg is a masturbation sleeve. It comes in a variety of textures (Silky, Stepper, Twister, Spider, Clicker, and Wavy; we had the Stepper) and are either available singly, or in a half-dozen. The “masturbation eggs” are cleverly packaged in plastic eggs, with an insert inside of the sleeve containing a packet of lube. I’ve read some places that they’re intended for single use ($12 for one wank!?!), but with careful cleaning I’ve found it can be used multiple times. (It’s been used about three times and it’s still in terrific condition.) The material is extremely stretchy and soft (it’s TPE). The Tenga Egg is also small enough to fit in a pocket.
Since I don’t have a bio-penis, I enlisted MasterDoc’s help reviewing this toy. He summed up his experience succinctly: “nice consistency, but ultimately inferior to a well lubed hand.”
I read a suggestion on Babeland’s site that you could turn the egg inside out and use it as a topper on a Hitachi magic wand. I gave this a go and the texture did add something to my masturbation. I needed to use lube with it since the material has some “grip,” but the texture was nice against my clit even with the intense vibration of the wand.
So overall, the Tenga Egg is nice but not necessarily amazing.
